The Friends of the Ethel Everhard Memorial Library are hosting an antique and collectibles appraisal event during their silent auction. Mark Moran will be at the Village Hall next to the library on Friday, Aug. 23 from 5-8 p.m.  There is an appraisal fee for your items. A portion of appraisal fees will be donated to the Friends of the Library.

The Rural Rembrandt Art Club held its 65th annual art show July 21 at the World War II Memorial Building in Wautoma. Thirty-two artists exhibited 150 art pieces. The show was very successful with Terry Stanley, a well-known artist and educator as judge.

One of the popular projects the Coloma Area Historical Society undertakes each season is to present month-long special exhibits at the Spalding General Store in June, July and August.  The July exhibit, called “A Stitch in Time,” is an outstanding example of collaboration, a passion for collecting antique sewing machines and history.

The Rural Rembrandt Art Club will hold their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, June 25 at the Wautoma Public Library meeting room. The board meeting takes place at 11:30 a.m. followed by refreshments at 1 p.m. and the general business meeting at 1:30 p.m. All members are welcome to attend the board meeting.
