The Patterson Memorial Library in Wild Rose will host the Rural Rembrandt Members Art Show during the month of November. Over 15 artists will be exhibiting their artwork in this annual member’s show.

Rachel Pavlic will be exhibiting 20 pieces of artworks at the Town Square in Green Lake (formerly Green Lake County Court House), many of which have not been shown before. Her work is unique because she uses a broad spectrum of two dimensional art media. The work in the current exhibit is done in watercolor, pen and ink, mixed media collage, pastel, and oil.

The Rural Rembrandt Art Club will hold their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 24 at the Wautoma Public Library meeting room. The board meeting takes place at 11:30 a.m. followed by refreshments at 1 p.m. and the general business meeting at 1:30 p.m. All members are welcome to attend the board meeting if they desire.

During the months of September and October, local area artist and member of the Rural Rembrandt Art Club Audrey Bunchkowski will have a display of watercolors on the Gallery Wall at the U.S. Bank in Wautoma. Many artists from the club have exhibits at this very visible location for a two-month period throughout the year.

Local area artists Audrey Bunchkowski and Lynn Sallee of Neshkoro will be exhibiting their artwork on the Gallery Wall at the Berlin Library during the month of September. There is a fine collection of both watercolors and photography.

The Waushara County Historical Society will present an antiques and collectibles appraisal event featuring author and antiques expert Mark F. Moran of Iola on Sunday, Oct. 6 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Waushara County Historical Society Museum, 221 S Saint Marie Street, Wautoma. There will be an appraisal fee for those having their items appraised. Mark Moran was formerly senior editor of Antiques and Collectibles Books for Krause Publications in Iola. He has also been a contributing editor for Antique Trader magazine. He has served as editor of Antique Review East magazine; producer of Atlantique City, an antique show held in Atlantic City, N.J.; and editorial director of F+W Media’s Antiques Group. He was also a guest appraiser on the Antiques Roadshow 2010 tour.

The Augustfest Quilt Show at the WWII Building was a huge success thanks to the efforts of co- chairs Donna Ball and Mary Anne Nielsen.  The Pine Tree Needlers  [PTN] Quilt Guild of Mt. Morris have been presenting the quilt show for over nine years.

The Friends of the Ethel Everhard Memorial Library are hosting an antique and collectibles appraisal event during their silent auction. Mark Moran will be at the Village Hall next to the library on Friday, Aug. 23 from 5-8 p.m.  There is an appraisal fee for your items. A portion of appraisal fees will be donated to the Friends of the Library.
