The Neshkoro Community Chorus is preparing for its annual Christmas Celebration Concert to be held on Saturday, Dec. 7.  The concert will be presented at “St. James Place” next to St. James Catholic Church, Neshkoro. The concert begins at 5:15 p.m.  A cookie and coffee reception follows the performance.

The Clauson Family Music Show will present a brand new show for 2013. The Soulful Sounds of the Pedal Steel Guitar will feature great country and western hits showcasing the sound of this unique instrument. The show will be presented two days only - Friday, Oct. 11 and Saturday, Oct. 12, both as 12:30 p.m. dinner shows.

The violin-clarinet-piano ensemble from Ekaterinburg, Russia was formed in May 1998 in Ekaterinburg by three friends—Victoria Gorbich (violin), Vladislav Gorbich (clarinet) and Vasil Galiulin (piano). They had just graduated from the Ural State Music Conservatory.

The final performance for the 2013 Friday Night Concert in the Park at Neshkoro’s Rivers Edge Park was met with a beautiful night of seasonable weather. The Oakridge Mennonite Church Choir performed a wide array of hymnal songs for the crowd with over 50 in attendance on Aug. 23.
