How is your Heart?

Your heart is an amazing organ that works non-stop 24/7 365 days a year. In the average person, it beats about 120,000 times a day. The heart is a pump that pushes blood filled with oxygen and nutrients to your organs. A constant flow of blood is required for normal functioning. Enough already!

This winter will go down in the record books as one of the coldest ever. I am not sure what happened to global warming but right about now I wouldn’t mind feeling some of it. Even though we take pride in our ability to adapt and make the best out of the winter challenges, this winter has been brutal. We are faced with physical stress to keep warm, economic stress due to additional energy costs, and stress related to equipment failures due to the extreme cold. This added stress along with the natural seasonal changes can affect our mental health.

In that document the person granting the authority has the opportunity to express their wishes to direct the person they have assigned regarding the level of care they desire.
