The Waushara County Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting on June 17 at Mt. Morris Hills County Park at the conclusion of a tour provided by the Zoning and Land Conservation Department.

 
Redgranite sets basic skill requirements for police officers Print E-mail

At the June 17 Redgranite Village Board meeting, the board unanimously approved a list of basic skill requirements for village police officers, which must be met by Aug. 15 of this year.  The skill requirements include 24 hours of in-service instruction, passing a firearms training course, being current on CPR, AED, and EVOC training, having computer skills to run TRACS 10 and the Spillman system, and being able to pass various physical fitness agility requirements.

The Hancock Village Board meeting was held on Monday, June 9 at 7 p.m.  The board discussed campground sites that have not mowed their lawn. The campers will be notified and if the village has to cut it they will be assessed a charge.
