It was “Senior Night” for the Tri-County Girls Basketball Feb. 20 as the Penguins hosted the Bowler Panthers. Tri-County was coming off their 5th straight victory Feb. 17, by pounding Almond/Bancroft 47 to 34.

The day was set as one of the premier sectionals for the 152-weight class at the Division 2 Sectional at Seymour on Feb. 22. Fourth ranked Warrior Bryce Bennot, a Wautoma High School senior, knew only three would move on to state and one loss could end his season.
