The Wautoma girls’ softball team traveled to Markesan on April 21 and lost 4-0. The Hornets were only able to gain two hits, one by Grace Lehr, #10 and the other by Kayley Giliberto, #5.

Wautoma improved on their South Central Conference record by winning their home game against the Adams-Friendship Green Devils on April 22. The Hornets allowed two runs on four hits throughout the entire game ending the game, 8-2. The winning pitcher was Jack Eagan pitching all 7 innings, 11 strikes, 2 walks, 4 hits, and 2 runs.

On April 22, the Lady Hornets girls’ softball team lost to their South Central Conference rival Adams-Friendship on the road 11-0. Leading up to game, the Lady Green Devils were ranked the 7th team in Division 2.
