During the month of February, Parkside School Counselor, Chandra McCarthy-Cardoso, and Language Arts teacher, Marsha Walejko, helped the 7th grade class complete a hands-on project to help prepare them for their future. Students learned how to properly fill out a job application, and they then participated in a mock interview.

On Dec. 15, 2000 the United States Congress passed a bill to help improve physical education programs for K-12 students. The Wautoma, Wild Rose and Tri-County School Districts each applied for the grant and have received funds to increase physical fitness awareness.

It is every American’s civic duty to serve on a jury when they are summoned. Some citizens feel that this is an inconvenience to their daily lives, often experiencing frustration due to missing work and time away from their families. This is no different for most of the characters portrayed in the Wautoma High School spring production, Twelve Angry Jurors.
