Patricia Etheridge was born Sept. 5, 1933 to Dewey Etheridge and Monica Cychosz. She graduated from Wild Rose High School in 1951 having served as class treasurer her freshman year and secretary the last three years.

Wild Rose Historical Society remembers 1952 Roger Gertenrich was born in Illinois, son of Roger and Merle (Heurlin) Gertenrich. His parents ran the Wild Rose Hotel in the 1940s and 1950s.

Plainfield VFW Auxiliary among first to reach 100% membership Print E-mail

The Ladies Auxiliary Veterans of Foreign Wars year is half over and the ladies of Waushara Post 6007, Plainfield, have been busy supporting many programs of the Auxiliary and the community. The Auxiliary was among the first to reach 100 percent in membership for the 2013-14 year. In recognition of that achievement, the Auxiliary has received recognition from both the state and national levels.
