Jesus’ Last Supper was actually a Jewish Passover. Irina Volodarska of Jews for Jesus will recreate the traditional Passover service and explain how it foreshadowed Jesus’ death and resurrection in a presentation called “Christ in the Passover” at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Auroraville, on Wednesday, April 9 at 7 p.m.

St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Wautoma hosted the annual World Day of Prayer on March 7. Every year on the first Friday in March 170 countries come together to observe a common day of prayer and reflection. The women of Egypt prepared this year’s event “Streams of the Desert.”
