On July 29, the Waushara County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a burglary in the Southern part of the Town of Marion. Several items were taken from the home including fishing equipment, a large flat screen TV, and a tool box with assorted tools inside. The burglary happened sometime during the previous ten days.

The dealership is currently doing business as Charles Automotive.

Sarah B. Nelson, 37, Wild Rose, was in court on July 29 for a plea/sentencing hearing for regarding the felony and misdemeanor charges she obtained between August 2011 and Dec. 31, 2012.

The total amount of money Nelson took from the Saxeville-Springwater Fire Department while serving as treasurer equaled $112,274.

The Zor Mavericks along with 15,000 other Shriners recently attended the Shriner Imperial in Twin Cities, MN. The Zor Mavericks won six trophies in the Imperial Competition and took first place in the team competition, drill, and military inspection.

The group Unity will be accepting applications from arts and crafts vendors for their Fourth Annual Harvest Faire held Sept. 21.

The Harvest Faire will be held in the City Park in Princeton, located on S. Fulton Street, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Vendors are allowed access to the City Park at 7 a.m. on the day of the event.
