Jane died on Sept. 2, 2013 at Fairhaven Senior Services, in Whitewater. She was 89 years old, and the last surviving sibling of her family. She was born Dec. 21, 1923 on the Davies family farm in Wild Rose to Daniels and Sara Davies, the sixth of seven children. Together they built a home on the Holloway Heritage Farms, Union Grove, WI where they raised four children, celebrating 65 years of marriage last fall.
She was an instructor in the interior design program at Gateway Technical Institute for 25 years, an expert in textiles and furniture, retiring in 1988.
She is survived by her husband: Floyd; two daughters: Sharron Topping (Charles Allen) and Elizabeth (Mark) Schar; two sons: John (Leslie) and Richard (Barbara); and nine grandchildren.
