|Standoff in Wautoma|

On Aug. 14 at 3:30 p.m., a lone male entered the CHN Pharmacy on STH 22 in the Town of Wautoma. He displayed what appeared to be a handgun and told the employee to give him their oxycontin. They complied with his request and nobody was harmed. When he exited the building pharmacy employees notified the Waushara County Sheriff’s Office Communication Center. He was observed crossing the highway on foot, entering a vehicle and proceeding into the subdivision on the west side of STH 22 that has a single entry/exit road.
