Jan. 6, 1935-July 31, 2013

Barbara Ann Schultz, 78, Sheboygan, passed away Wednesday July 31, 2013 surrounded by her children.  Barbara was born Jan. 6, 1935 in Fond du Lac to the late Edward and Esther (Scherer) Malson.  Barbara was united in marriage to Donald E. Schultz on April 28, 1956. He preceded her in death on July 12, 1997.  Barbara was a graduate of Berlin High School.  She was employed at the Hoffbrau Restaurant prior to working at Suscha’s News.  Barbara was an avid bird watching enthusiast, loved all animals and enjoyed gardening, flowers and polka dancing with her friends.

Barbara is survived by her children: Diane (Steve) Hoffmann, Cedar Grove; Karen Feldmann Schultz, Spring Lake; David E. Schultz, Sheboygan; grandchildren: Sheila, Renee, Ciara Hoffmann, Jeremy Garbisch, Jamie Feldmann and Joseph (Nicole) Feldmann; step brother-in-law: William “Billy” (Jane) Briggs, Wautoma; two sisters-in-law: Jeannine Malson, Fond du Lac; and Agnes “Aggie” Malson, Fond du Lac; great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandson: Jeffrey Feldmann Jr.; brothers: Walter and Clarence Malson; and two step-fathers: Frank Frazer and George Ehrenberg.

Family and friends could call at the Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th Street, Sheboygan, on Monday, Aug. 5 from 4-7 p.m.  Visitation continued on Tuesday at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 1444 S. 11th Street, Sheboygan, from 10 a.m. until the time of mass.  Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday 11 a.m. at the church with the Rev. Paul Fliss officiating.  Entombment followed at the Holy Cross Mausoleum.

A memorial fund has been established in Barbara’s name.
