Robert Dale Goble, 80, Wautoma, died on Friday, July 4, 2014 at Wild Rose Hospital. He was born on Jan. 7, 1934 in Wadena, MN, the son of Vernon and Eva (Squire) Goble. He served in the US Army for three years and was honorably discharged in 1955. On Oct. 8, 1965 he married Judith M. Bredeson in Zion, IL. The couple then moved to Racine where Robert worked at J.I. Case for 30 years and then retired. He also worked as an auto mechanic and a professional painter. Robert loved all his family dearly. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, gardening and fishing.
Robert is survived by his wife: Judith Goble, Wautoma; children: Rose Marie, Rosa Lee, Raymond, Rhonda, Mike, Barb, Marion, James and their loving families; sister: Violet Moench; two brothers: Gene (Marie) Goble and Nathaniel Goble; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister; and four brothers.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 12 at Leikness Funeral Home, Wautoma. Officiating at the service was Pastor Al Spitler. Visitation was held prior to the funeral services. Burial took place at Wisconsin Veteran’s Cemetery, King, on Monday, July 14 with Military Honors accorded by the U.S. Army Honors Team.
