Jan. 31, 1957-April 4, 2014

Frank Stuebs was born to eternal life on Friday, April 4, 2014, at the age of 57 years.  He was born on Jan. 31, 1957 in Milwaukee to Gerhard and Helga (nee Juergens) Stuebs.

Frank was the youngest of four children.  He was baptized and confirmed at St. James Ev. Lutheran Church in Milwaukee. Frank was a graduate of Wisconsin Lutheran High School, Class of 1975.  After high school, he earned his apprenticeship as a bricklayer and worked alongside his father for many years.

Frank went on to become a member of Bricklayers Union Local 8 for over 30 years and is still a member in “good standing” to this day.  Frank was also a talented woodworker and made beautiful furniture for friends and family to enjoy. He was a devoted member of Morning Star Ev. Lutheran Church in Jackson where he had served on the Buildings and Ground Committee.

In his younger years, Frank was an avid bow and gun hunter in the Wautoma area. He also enjoyed fishing on Silver Lake. Frank embraced any opportunity to be spent in the company of his family and friends.

Frank will be remembered for his kind nature and willingness to put others before himself.

Frank is survived by his siblings: Juergen, Rainer (Cynthia), and Barbara Bartel; nephews: Daniel and Andrew; step-nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends. Frank is preceded in death by his parents: Gerhard and Helga; and brother-in-law: Victor Bartel.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 5:45 p.m. on Thursday, April 10, at Morning Star Ev. Lutheran Church, N171 W20131 Highland Rd., Jackson, with Pastor Charles Raasch presiding. A Memorial Service for Frank will follow visitation at 6 p.m. at the church.

Memorials are appreciated to Morning Star Ev. Lutheran Church or the charity of your choice.
