Some 107 years ago saw the first connection between a small village called Trefor in Wales and the Town of Redgranite, WI. One of the greatest hard granite quarries in the world, “The Welsh Granite Company” of Trefor, was not producing and hundreds of men were out of work. Some 70 of them answered a call to come to America to quarry the hard rocks of Redgranite, and so began the connection.
