Jalane Hieland, 66, Neshkoro, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2014, at Silver Lake Manor in Wautoma.
She was born on Dec. 3, 1947, in Neshkoro, a daughter of Carl and Mabel (Mischka) Standke. Jalane was married to Anthony “Tony” Hieland on July 8, 1967, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Berlin. She worked at Reetz Meats and Groceries in Neshkoro for many years. Jalane was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Neshkoro. She enjoyed being involved in her church, as well as spending time with family and her two special granddaughters, whom she loved dearly, Elisa and Tara.
Jalane is survived by her daughter: Amy (Mike) Eichstedt, Jr., Redgranite; two granddaughters: Elisa and Tara; brother-in-law: Ralph (Melodie) Hieland, Jr., Waupaca; three sisters: Audrey (Donald) Schrank, Westfield; Sandra (Wilmar) Gohlke, Neshkoro; Marlene (Bob) Tadman, Wautoma; three brothers: Dale (Sandy) Standke, Fall River; DuWayne (Sally) Standke, Neshkoro; Dean (Donna) Standke, Fond du Lac; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Anthony “Tony” Hieland on Nov. 12, 2008; her parents: Carl and Mabel Standke; and sister: Rhonda Standke.
Funeral services for Jalane Hieland will be held on Thursday, April 3 at 11 a.m. with visitation beginning at 9 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 227 North State St., Neshkoro, with Pastor Franklin Giebel officiating. Burial will follow the service at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Neshkoro.
