On Feb. 1, 1964, Carol married Arnold Dittmann in Auroraville. Carol worked at Prange Way in Waupaca as a cashier, and also worked on the Title One program at school and served on the Election Board for the Town of Bloomfield. She was a member of St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Berlin and enjoyed crocheting, reading cookbooks, cooking and puzzles.
Carol is survived by her husband of 50 years: Arnold; a son, Dean Dittmann, Miladore, WI; three daughters: Sherry (Jim) King, Appleton, Jeannie Fiedler, Columbus, and Paula (Don) LeMay, Owatonna; 12 grandchildren; a sister: Dorothy Coda, Milwaukee; three brothers: Russell Manske, Berlin, Robert (Linda) Manske, Pine River, and Allan (Darlene) Manske, Wild Rose; two brothers-in-law: Dennis Rodencal, Redgranite, and Harold (Bev) Walbruck, Weyauwega; a sister-in-law: Diane Manske, Pine River; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a sister: Irma; two brothers: Dennis and Vernon; a brother-in-law: Chet Coda; and a nephew: Mark Coda.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 15, at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church, 168 Mound St., Berlin. Pastor Bryan Lundquist will officiate. Burial will be in Concordia Cemetery, West Bloomfield. Visitation will be held on Saturday, at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. A memorial fund has been established for St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, Berlin.
