|Frank Cole Shepard|
July 22, 1926-Feb. 12, 2014
On Nov. 7, 1952, Frank married Marilyn Kalmerton at the Poy Sippi Methodist Church. He served in the Navy during WWII, traveled in the South Pacific, and was stationed in New Caledonia. He briefly attended UW-Stevens Point. He worked at Speed Queen in Omro for 37 years, working his way up from the assembly line to become plant manager. Frank and his beloved wife Mary built their own home in Pine River where they raised four children. Frank enjoyed life. He filled the room with his presence and sense of fun. He cared about people and was a wonderful husband, father, and friend. Frank loved to fish. On most fall weekends you could find him cheering on the Packers. He was always ready to go out for breakfast, host a fish fry, or play a game of cards. He enjoyed the outdoors, wildlife, and watching the birds. He will be missed.
