He worked at Cutler Hammer Co. in Milwaukee until he began his 27 year career as a U.S. Postal letter carrier on Milwaukee’s northwest side.  He retired in 1993 and moved to Redgranite, where he enjoyed long walks and dining at local restaurants.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, brother Norman, and dear friends Don and Barbara Schultz, Tony Barberra, Leonald Schrock, and Garnet Decker.

Funeral services for Lawrence “Larry” Rieves were held Sunday, Jan. 19 at 2 p.m. at the Ruminski Funeral Home in Redgranite. The Rev. Richard Bartholomew officiated. Burial was in the Pine River Cemetery, Town of Leon.
