|World Race: Philippines relief efforts|

Being on the World Race there have been many silly and indescribable experiences. Month one in Guatemala and Month two in Honduras were spent sleeping in a tent. I’ve camped plenty of times, but certainly not for this duration. In Guatemala we were in the chilly mountains and it rained almost daily. In Honduras we had fabulous weather but battled horses and dogs “visiting” our tents. For two months I still had the luxuries of a tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, and a headlamp. I say “luxuries” because the people of Philippines have anything but these comforts.
