|Groundbreaking event for "Spalding Museum Annex" kicks off exciting new venture|

The Coloma Area Historical Society broke ground on Monday, June 10 for the ‘Spalding Museum Annex’ on the grounds of the 1878 Spalding General Store Museum.
CAHS had originally rescued the historic old building from its location in Old Coloma Corners in 2007 where had been slated for demolition. When the owner recognized the building’s historical significance, it was donated to the historical society with the stipulation that it be moved.
