The Westfield Area High School Science Olympiad team took home a third place team trophy from the regional tournament in Medford. They earned medals in eight different events including astronomy, detector building, disease detectives, flight, forestry, geocaching, precision medicine, and fossils. The Wild Rose Girls’ Basketball team presented a $2,885.80 to the ThedaCare Ride Share program during their regional game on Feb. 20. The donation was raised at the Box Out Cancer event that was held on Feb. 6. Presenting the check to Tammy Bending from ThedaCare are Abbie McCardell, Mya Bahr and Sara Munoz Garcia from Wild Rose Girls’ Basketball team.
