Renter informs readers on status of Neshkoro Area Community Center

Subhead

Dear Editor,

Neshkoro Area Commun-ity Center “NACC” has been purchased from the previous private owner.

As one of the renters, people ask me about the current status of the center, so I feel it is helpful to inform the community what we know at this time as we go forward.

The Blessings thrift shop and other renters will now be responsible for all the repairs (including a roof), utilities, etc., along with repayment of a loan from a private friend of the center, that provided a good portion of the purchase cost.

Some changes, including financial, are being put in place to be able to continue to serve folks with all the opportunities offered at the center. For example, most items available at Blessings now have a very small minimum charge to raise enough funds to meet new financial responsibilities.

You can follow the NACC on Facebook.

We are all excited to be part of this endeavor and hope our in town and out of town neighbors continue to keep the center available to serve.

P.S. There may be more fundraisers than usual.
