Wild Rose Village Board approves sludge removal bid on April 6th

The Wild Rose Village Board approved a sludge removal bid during an Apr. 6 meeting.

Two bids were reviewed for removing sludge from a sewage pond a previously discussed. Walter + Sam Waste, LLC came in with the lowest bid, and it was accepted by the board.

A discussion was held on the possibility of acquiring security cameras for the Village Hall, as there has been some damage to various areas of the building. The subject will be checked into further.

 

The board went on to approve:

•Resolution 2022-02 amending the articles of organization, and by-laws of the East Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission.

•The appointment of Mark Davies and Jody Jansen to the Police Commission.

A further look into possibly fending a new administrator for the Community Development Block Grant Program.

•An operator’s license for Yolanda Nolde.

Wild Rose Fire Chief Al Luchini, the new Waushara County Emergency Government Director, was on hand to give an account of the truck problems at the fire department. He informed the board that there are funds available to start replacing items for vehicles.

Brad Robinson spoke to the board regarding a location for parking a semi-trailer so there won’t be any problems with it in the village. The board gave him some possible locations to check into.

The library and community center report gave the news that a library staff member is retiring on Apr. 30.

The board tabled the subject of the shed request for use by the Wild Rose Days Committee at Roberts Park.

The next board meeting will take place at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 4.
