Wild Rose School Board approves Class of 2023

The Wild Rose School Board approved the Class of 2023 as presented during the May 18 meeting as the 2022-23 school year draws to a close. A request for a half day leave of absence by Jessi Nelson was approved. District Depositories and Electronic Fund Transfer Vendors were approved for the 2023-2024 school year. An update was required due to the merger of Hometown Bank and Bank First. It is now Bank First of Wautoma. Milk bids for 2023-24 from Engelhardt Dairy of Kewaskum were approved at .317 for a 1% white milk half pint eco, .293 for skim milk half-pint eco, and .338 for chocolate skim milk half-pint eco. Performance Foodservice was awarded the breads, buns, and rolls contract for the 2023-2024 school year. Salary(ies) for driving a student to a specialized educational facility outside of the area was approved. The elementary principal reported the school will again receive a CLC after school program grant for the 2023-24 school year. The next board meetings will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursdays, June 8, June 22, and July 20.
