Westfield student earns state and national
Environmental action is alive and growing at the Westfield School
District. On Earth Day, April 22, Pioneer Westfield Middle School hosted
an interactive. The day was arranged by Quinn Shirley and Deb Brown, 8th
and 7th grade science teachers, respectively. Due to rain and cold that
day the events were held at the middle school and in the Pioneer
Multi-Purpose Building instead of Montello Park. Students were to
observe the hydro dam in Montello but will have to reschedule that event
at another time.
