11/23/2022: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 7:40 a.m. on Plaza Rd. in the Town of Wautoma. Richard Weisjohn, 62, Wautoma, was pulling into the Pick ‘n Save parking lot. Bert Guggenmos, 56, Neshkoro, was following close begin when Weisjohn applied the brakes. Guggenmos struck the rear portion of Weisjohn.
12/10/2022: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 12:35 p.m. on CTHP eastbound in the Town of Rose. Francisco Barcenas Cervantes, 58, Blair, appeared to lose control due to road/weather conditions, entered the ditch going down the embankment and struck a tree.
12/14/2022: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 6:43 a.m. on CTHCC westbound in the Town of Coloma. Andrew Zehner, 21, Coloma, attempted to negotiate a curve, lost control, spun out, entered south ditch and rolled vehicle.
12/14/2022: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 10:59 a.m. on CTHE northbound in the Town of Leon. Juan Alvarado Avalos,47, Redgranite, hit ice and spun out. The vehicle hit the ditch with the front end and rear.
12/17/2022: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 10:52 p.m. on CTHH northbound in the Town of Springwater. Bradley Henkel, 25, Green Lake, was traveling at a high rate of speed down the center of the roadway when failing to maintain control and went into the south ditch of Cty Rd. H. Vehicle proceeded to spin the counter clock wise into the snow and ditch causing damage to the vehicles’ front bumper, passenger quarter panel and the windshield.
12/18/2022: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 6:07 p.m. on an intersection in the Town of Leon. Hector Castillo Torres, 29, Wautoma, was operating to fast for conditions, failed to stop at the stop sign and crashed into a tree.
12/18/2022: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 10:41 p.m. on CTHV southbound in the Town of Hancock. Connor Brewer, 18, Almond, was reversing the vehicle on the I-39 southbound ramp. Brewer jerked the wheel and caused vehicle to land on its’ driver side, partially block the ramp.
12/20/2022: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 2:31 a.m. on 4th Ave in the Town of Coloma. James Schmalz, 68, Holmen, attempted to negotiate a right hand turn. As Schmalz enters the right hand turn, he loses control of the vehicle on the snow covered road and slides into the side of Benjamin White, 43, Gary, IN, semi-truck that was stopped at the stop sign waiting to turn eastbound.
12/20/2022: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 6:13 a.m. on STH49 southbound in the Town of Aurora. Juan Bautista-May, 20, Waupaca, lost control of the vehicle, striking mailbox in west side ditch. The vehicle continued forward into the ditch where it came to rest.
12/21/2022: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 4:57 a.m. on STH49 southbound in the Town of Aurora. Brandi Rosenthal, 28, Berlin, was attempting to back into a private driveway and was covering the entire roadway. Theresa Wals, 61, Wild Rose, did not see Rosenthal and struck the rear trailer portion then entered the ditch before coming to rest in the driveway.
12/21/2022: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 10:15 a.m. on 19th Rd in the Town of Marion. Deandra Kaul, 21, Berlin, lost control of the vehicle and struck the stop sign located on 19th Rd. Vehicle came to rest in the northbound lane of 19th Rd.
12/21/2022: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 3:46 p.m. on 5th Ave in the Town of Hancock. Braden Potts, 18, Almond, was traveling southbound when he hit some ice and over corrected its’ direction of travel which started to spin the auto. Vehicle struck a post in the west ditch causing damage to the driver side of the vehicle and busting out a driver side back window.
12/22/2022: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 2:07 a.m. on Chicago Ave in the Town of Leon. Imelda Rodriguez-Leon, 40, Aurora, IL, was attempting to negotiate a turn. Due to the weather, the vehicle failed to complete the turn, ran off the roadway and struck a tree head on.
12/22/2022: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 10:10 a.m. on 21st Ave in the Town of Mount Morris. Due to the weather conditions William Dorsett, 22, Pine River, slid through the stop sign and struck Shawn Johnson, 42, Berlin. Johnson was injured and transported to the hospital. Johnson stated that Dorsett was flying. Dorsett stated his ABS did not work. Both units towed due to disabling damage.
12/22/2022: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 11:04 a.m. on STH49 southbound in the Town of Bloomfield. Andrew Lewis, 37, lost control while negotiating the curve and struck a County Road I sign. Vehicle came to rest in the west, southbound ditch.
12/22/2022: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 10 p.m. on CTHS southbound in the Town of Mount Morris. Property owner exited his driveway to find his mailbox had been struck and vehicle left at the scene in the snow-filled ditch. No person in or around vehicle. Contact made with owner and admitted operator. Michael Waltenberry, 53, Berlin, lost control on ice/snow covered road, severe wind blowing snow, over-corrected to right, spun 180 degrees entering west ditch and struck mailbox and post and became stuck in snow-filled ditch.
12/23/2022: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 3:58 p.m. on an intersection in the Town of Warren. Margaret Zuelke, 54, Redgranite, was struck in the passenger side door by Timothy Trotter, 24, Redgranite. Trotter was attempting to stop at a stop sign on the west side of County Road EE and failed to stop due to speed too fast for conditions – Road, ice-cover, blowing snow. Trotter skidded/slid on ice, unable to stop and struck Zuehlke.
12/23/2022: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 5:05 p.m. on Happersett Ln in the Town of Warren. Chad Ziegler, 40, Blk River Falls, entered the curve and failed to negotiate the curve. The vehicle then crossed the center line and went into the ditch. The vehicle then collided with a fence and came to rest on top of the fence.
12/24/2022: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 3:20 p.m. on 5th Ave in the Town of Plainfield. Penny Challoner, 58, Plainfield, struck a snowdrift, causing damage to the vehicle.
12/24/2022: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 3:24 p.m. on CTHT southbound in the Town of Wautoma. Stephanie Gish, 31, Reedsburg, approached many snow drifts in the roadway. Gish lost control, causing the vehicle to spin and stop. Arianna Cereceres Hernandez, 23, Wautoma, approached the same drift area and lost control, striking Gish.
