10/30/2022: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 3:22 p.m. on STH21 eastbound in the Town of Dakota. Oliver McKay, 55, Plymouth, stated he may have been ran off the road. While on the scene, Deputy observed tire marks entering the ditch, the vehicle proceeded to hit a culvert/driveway, go airborne, and come to rest on its’ drivers side.
10/31/2022: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 10:55 a.m. in a parking lot in the Town of Dakota. Caitlin Karr, 18, Redgranite, was backing out of a parking stall when she struck Martin Cervantes, 53, Wautoma, as he drove through the parking lot.
11/4/2022: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 11:48 p.m. in a parking lot in the Town of Dakota. Unit 1 was legally parked and unoccupied. Mark Witt, 31, Oak Creek, backed out of parking spot and struck Unit 1, then left the scene.
11/5/2022: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 3:31 a.m. on IH39 southbound in the Town of Hancock. Gabriel Newberry, 31, Madison, left the roadway and entered ditch, then came to a stop.
11/9/2022: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 3:32 a.m. on Chicago Rd. in the Town of Leon. Brandon Reinert, 38, Redgranite, left road and entered ditch. Vehicle continued in ditch for approximately 30 yards. Reinert struck an embankment/driveway and continued for approximately 10 yards and struck a tree coming to rest. Reinert stated that he swerved to miss a deer in the roadway.
11/9/2022: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 7:34 a.m. on STH73 northbound in the Town of Marion. Taylor Krueger, 16, Neshkoro, crossed the centerline and entered the west ditch. Vehicle struck a marker post and came to rest on S. Village Circle.
11/9/2022: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 12:34 p.m. on CTHF northbound in the Town of Marion. Ronald Werdin, 68, Berlin, crossed the centerline and entered the west ditch. Vehicle hit a sign post and then contacted several trees.
11/9/2022: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 7:54 p.m. on Warren St. in the Village of Redgranite. Eric Schendel, 52, Wilton, was parked in a semi in a parking lot after losing two tires on a previous incident on the passenger side of the trailer. Semi was trying to turn and struck a post at the Shell Gas Station next to Warren Street, causing damage to the trailer side and pushing the post up and to the side and out of the asphalt.
