Accidents reported in Waushara County

*8/28/2022: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 12:19 a.m. on STH21 eastbound in the Town of Aurora. Rael Calvin, 45, Omro, stated something fell on the floor, he looked down, then the next thing he knew he was in the tall grass. Scene showed vehicle crossed the lane of travel, struck a driveway sending it airborne. Calvin landed in a soybean field and continued to travel eastbound through the edge of the bean field, striking an orange drain tile pipe, breaking it off at ground level. Vehicle stopped and became stuck in tall grass in the ditch.

 

*8/31/2022: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 5:37 p.m. on STH21 westbound in the Town Aurora. Timothy Scherber, 54, Wautoma, was looking at the GPS on his phone, left roadway onto gravel, and gravel pulled vehicle off of the roadway. Scherber nicked a tree while traveling through the ditch. Vehicle came to rest in the swamp/tall grass area of the ditch on STH21 near Cottonville Ct.

*9/9/2022: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 11:55 a.m. on STH73 southbound in the Town of Wautoma. James Bowman, 76, Plover, left the roadway on the right shoulder. Vehicle contacted driveway and went airborne. Bowman rolled once and came to rest facing northbound in the west ditch. Bowman stated he was sneezing when the crash happened.

*9/9/2022: A three-vehicle accident occurred at 4:17 p.m. on W. Bannerman Ave/STH21 eastbound in the Village of Redgranite. Denise Neeley, 58, Friendship and Bonnie Anderson, 63, Pine River, were stopped in traffic traveling eastbound. Austin Burns, 19, Redgranite, was traveling eastbound and made contact with the rear of Anderson, pushing it forward making contact with Neeley. Burns stated he was looking away from traffic ahead.

9/8/2022: At 5:07 p.m., Sabrina Goodwin, 31, Hancock, on CTHC, Westbound, Town of Wautoma.

9/9/2022: At 10:23 p.m., Tyler Davis, 28, Berlin, on STH21, Eastbound, Town of Marion.
