*8/28/2022: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 7:51 p.m. on STH49 northbound in the Town of Poy Sippi. Dylan Anadell,, 17, Fremont, fell asleep and began to drift off the roadway shoulder right. Anadell over corrected, sending vehicle across the centerline and into the wrong lane. Anadell then left the roadway into the west ditch and came to rest.
*8/29/2022: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 4:20 a.m. on 25th Ave in the Town of Warren. Nathan Michalski, 30, Redgranite, struck a dead tree that was completely across the roadway. Michalski went off the roadway on the west side and into a field while attempting to avoid the downed tree.
*9/1/2022: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 12:45 p.m. on STH21 eastbound in the Village of Coloma. Robert Braun, 69, Pittsville, was turning south and used left turn lane to make the turn. Elizabeth Rettler, 19, Sparta, was using the right hand lane to try to pass on the right and was struck by the rear of Braun’s semi as it was making the turn.
