7/1/2022: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 8:43 p.m. on Alpine Dr. in the Town of Marion. An unknown driver failed to negotiate a curve and entered the steep ditch, striking a tree.
7/19/2022: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 4:50 p.m. on Plaza Rd. in the Town of Wautoma. Elizabeth Arveson, 70, Wautoma, pulled into an open parking spot. While pulling in James Reiskytl, 84, Mequon, opened the door and Arveson made contact with the door.
7/21/2022: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 8:18 a.m. on Main St./STH22 northbound. Paul Demler, 83, Wild Rose, was legally parked in a parking zone on the right shoulder on Main St and started to pull into the lane for northbound traffic. Devan Harriman, 30, Wild Rose, was northbound on Main St when Demler was pulling into the lane of travel. Harriman made contact with Demler and continued northbound.
7/27/2022: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 9:30 a.m. on an intersection in the Town of Hancock. Michael Sanford, 42, Onalaska, was traveling eastbound on CTH C approaching the stop sign at CTH V. Todd Suhr, 60, Plover, was traveling southbound on CTH V approaching the intersection at CTH C. CTH C is controlled by a stop sign at CTH V for eastbound and westbound traffic on CTH C requiring them to stop. Sanford traveled through the stop sign without stopping per a statement from Suhr and a witness traveling northbound. Witness statements obtained from Suhr and northbound witness. Evidence at the scene indicated no braking from Suhr prior to entering the intersection and severe front end damage to Sanford’s vehicle, which would likely indicate that a. high speed collision took place. Sanford recalled entering the intersection at 45 MPH while applying the brakes. Sanford provided no explanation to not stopping for the stop sign.
7/29/2022: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 3:09 p.m. on STH21 westbound in the Town of the Marion. Unit 2 was legally parked. Abigail Giuffre, 24, Westfield, backed into Unit 2.
