5/17/2022: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 5:47 p.m. on STH73 southbound in the Town of Wautoma. Chad Miller, 45, Plainfield, drove off the roadway into a very steep ditch then came to rest against multiple large trees.
5/21/2022: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 9:59 p.m. on an intersection in the Town of Dakota. Eduardo Gonzalez, 24, Wautoma, was driving to fast for the road, lost control around the turn and spun out striking a telephone pole. Driver did leave the scene.
5/30/2022: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 3:58 p.m. on STH49 southbound in the Town of Aurora. Austin Schrei, 21, Poy Sippi, stated he slammed on the brakes to avoid hitting vehicles in front of him. The vehicle slid to the right shoulder, entered the ditch and rolled over onto the driver’s side. The vehicle was pushed back onto wheels and driver left the scene. The driver and vehicle were later found at a residence.
6/1/2022: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 11:40 p.m. on IH39 northbound in the Town of Coloma. Harmandeep Chatrath, 28, Brampton, ON, Canada, was negotiating a curve in the roadway in a semi. He left the roadway into the median and struck a cable barrier. He continued into the median and came to rest near the southbound lane of travel. Chatrath stated the tire came off the vehicle which caused the vehicle to enter the ditch. No marks found in roadway to support.
