5/4/2022: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 11:53 a.m. on STH21 westbound in the Town of Richford. Joyce Pelnar, 82, Rochester, MN, told Coloma Police Officer that she fell asleep while driving. Evidence indicated that she had left the roadway on the north side of the road, then vaulted on a driveway embankment and went airborne. The vehicle landed and spun in a clockwise manner and rolled ¾ of one full roll, coming to rest on its passenger side. Upon arrival of officers the vehicle had already been pushed onto its wheels by a person whom came upon the crash.
5/8/2022: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 3:15 a.m. on CTHC westbound in the Town of Deerfield. Austin Kanneman, 20, Hancock, did not properly negotiate a right curve in the roadway. Kanneman continued off the right shoulder of roadway into the ditch and struck a utility pole and came to rest.
