4/19/2022: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 2:38 p.m. on Main St./STH49 northbound in the Town of Poy Sippi. According to witnesses and marks in the road, the vehicle was traveling northbound on State Road 49 while missing the right front tire. The vehicle weaved, crossed the centerline, and contacted the anchor cables of the utility pole. The driver left the scene.
4/22/2022: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 10 p.m. on Alp Ave in the Town of Rose. Roger Sweeney, 51, Almond, crossed the center line and entered the eastbound ditch where it struck a tree. Contact was later made with operator who was not on scene.
4/24/2022: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 2:05 p.m. on STH21 westbound in the Town of Coloma. Christopher Gadzinski, 41, Owatanna, MN, stated he had to swerve for cars slowed in the roadway and there was an oncoming vehicle. Gadzinski crossed the center line, left the roadway on the south shoulder, and contacted the no passing zone sign post.
4/24/2022: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 9:27 p.m. at an intersection in the Town of Aurora. Matthew Skor, 18, Manitowoc, was traveling eastbound after blowing through the stop sign and drove into the east ditch of 32nd Ave. Damage was done to the front passenger side bumper area. Operator had no insurance and was found to be impaired.
4/29/2022: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 6:33 p.m. on Beechnut Rd. in the Town of Leon. Allyson Ewald, 18, Wautoma, failed to negotiate curve to the south, exited roadway, entered west ditch and struck trees. Ewald stated she was adjusting radio at the time of the crash and that she was traveling between 20 and 40 MPH.
