3/24/2022: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 6:24 a.m. on an intersection in the Town of Plainfield. Lacie Tolusas, 26, Wautoma, was waiting to turn south when there was contact from an unknown semi-tractor trailer. Tolusas turned into what is believed to be the rear tire/bumper area of hit and run Unit 1 causing severe damage to her vehicle.
Operator of Unit 1 did not stop and per video from the gas station it was an all-white trailer and red tractor. Tolusas stated that hit and run Unit 1 possibly pulled into the BP Gas Station after the crash.
The video was checked there and nothing matching that description was found to have turned in after the crash.
