10/29/2021: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 6:10 p.m. on STH73 southbound in the Town of Marion. Michael Conkey, 46, Beaver Dam, stated while traveling southbound, a vehicle in front of him attempted to brake for a deer that was in the ditch area. Conkey stated he slowed to avoid hitting the vehicle and at this time Taryn Miller, 26, Rudolph, struck him. Miller stated she was traveling southbound when she observed brake lights activate in front of her. She was unable to brake in time and struck Conkey. Deputy asked Miller if she believed she was following too close and she stated yes.
10/30/2021: A one-vehicle accident occurred at 8:37 p.m. on CTHA eastbound in the Town of Saxeville. Harley Dalke, 27, Kaukauna, was found to be traveling eastbound when he ran a stop sign at County Road E intersection. The vehicle entered the property on the east side of the roadway. The vehicle traveled approximately 75 yards on the property until it struck several downed logs and stumps. The vehicle then came to rest on top of a stump. Dalke was suspected to be under the influence of an intoxicant. Driver was placed under arrest for OWI. Air bags were deployed and seat belt found locked in storage position.
